Michele DiMartino is a Managing Director with Kates Kesler Organization Consulting, based in the United States. She consults with CEOs and executive teams on the design and activation of their company operating models and organization structures in order to help them achieve their strategic objectives.
Michele has directed organization design projects for mature global companies and younger fast-growth companies, across the retail, hospitality, high-tech, agri-business, life sciences, consumer packaged goods, and finance sectors (e.g., Cargill, PepsiCo, Qurate Group, Kimberly-Clark, Qualcomm, CSL, Alliance Data, E&J Gallo, Intuitive Surgical). She also has deep expertise in human resource transformation, and is an organization design instructor for Kates Kesler and guest lecturer at Cornell University and New York University.
Michele partners closely with business leaders throughout the design process — helping them to identify and prioritize the key business problems to solve, build and evaluate new organization design options, and assess the talent, cultural, and economic implications of their design choices.
Before beginning her consulting career, Michele was a human resources executive with several leading global companies (e.g. Marriott International). During her time in corporate and academe, her work was featured in a number of conference proceedings, academic and best practice journals.
Michele earned her undergraduate degrees from Johnson & Wales University, where she also served on the Board of Trustees from 2009-2018. She received her Master’s Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, specializing in service management, and did her doctoral studies at Virginia Tech in the field of organizational development. Michele is on the Board of Trustees for Academy Prep in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA (a private middle school for socio-economically under-privileged children), where she lives with her husband and son.
