Matt is a Senior Manager in Kates Kesler and a seasoned coach, consultant, leader, and designer. He specializes in helping C-level business and functional leaders at start-ups to Fortune 100 companies optimally align their organization and talent to pursue business strategy.
Matt has served clients across multiple industries and functions as a management consultant at Accenture and IBM, as a head of Organizational Development/Talent Management for The Walt Disney Company’s TV business and Microsoft’s Xbox, and as an independent consultant and executive coach. He also has operational experience, having led local operations as a general manager and HR leader for a Fortune 1000 company and as entrepreneur/owner of a franchise business.
Matt has deep experience leading end-to-end organization design in complex operating environments, including strategy definition, current state diagnosis, operating model and organization structure design, process design, talent assessment and selection, leadership alignment, activation planning and execution. He also has deep experience leading the planning, design, implementation, and management of talent/workforce strategy, succession planning, performance management, executive coaching and development, employee experience/engagement, and workforce/HR analytics.
